Happy new year…
As I sit in nana’s old floral arm chair looking out to the girls enjoying the nights graze, I can’t help but reflect lightly on what was a very interesting year indeed. We’ve seen some real success in our stockists in Cambridge & Hamilton, so that’s been awesome for us, and I want to thank Julz, Tyla & the team for helping us through as we figure out this crazy and difficult business. Turns out fashion is a relatively flooded and complicated market. Who would’ve thought!! haha. With that being said, it would seem that people are enjoying what Alarf brings to the table, and I often get people talking to me about what they like, and what they would like to see next, and it’s genuinely appreciated by both Frances & I. We love the challenges and rewards that come with this thing, and it would seem that going into the new year, we’ve put ourselves in a good spot to really make 2024 a special one. Without setting ourselves up for failure, we’re keen on bringing more stockists in this year, and will be trying to make the most of that particular aspect. We want to get Alarf in shops all across the country so if anyone has any special wee contacts or ideas on that front, we’d be only too grateful. But that’s not all, we’re fortunate enough to be welcoming old pal and confidante Tim Walker, aka str8 breetha, to assist with our online advertising and marketing. He’ll be a huge asset going forward as we look to tackle the overseas ecommerce space. Oh, and of course, some new products to get you fine people havingAlarf. You may have seen our hat come onto the market just recently, there’ll be more options in that coming soon, and more tees inbound also. As well as some other special goods that we’re cooking up. This is all ideal world stuff, but hey, maybe if I vocalise it there’s an added level of expectation on the thing to do just that. So bring it on I say!
We really appreciate everyone who supports Alarf, be it purchasing goods or just expressing interest, it’s awesome! I believe that Alarf attracts a certain type of person, and that type of person is a bloody good bugger - so keep it up you! Yes, you reading right now - keep it up would ya!
